EASYPHIX Repair Terms & Conditions
Version 2026.08
These Repair Terms & Conditions apply to repair and diagnostic services provided by EASYPHIX Pty Ltd. Please read these terms carefully before submitting a repair request or sending your device to EASYPHIX.
1. Repair Authorisation
By submitting a repair request or providing a device to EASYPHIX Pty Ltd ("EASYPHIX"), the Customer confirms that they are the owner of the device or are authorised by the owner to request inspection and repair services.
The Customer authorises EASYPHIX to inspect, diagnose, test and perform the repair services approved by the Customer.
2. Customer Information
The Customer confirms that the contact, device and repair information supplied to EASYPHIX is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
The Customer must provide sufficient and accurate contact information so that EASYPHIX can communicate with them regarding diagnosis, quotation, repair and return of the device.
3. Inspection, Diagnosis and Additional Faults
EASYPHIX may inspect and test the device to identify the reported fault.
During inspection or repair, additional faults, previous repairs, internal damage or pre-existing conditions may be discovered that were not apparent before the device was opened or tested.
Where additional chargeable repairs are required, EASYPHIX will seek the Customer's approval before proceeding with those additional repairs.
4. Replacement Parts and Repair Options
Where applicable, EASYPHIX may offer different replacement part options that vary in specification, technology, appearance, performance, warranty and price.
Aftermarket replacement parts may differ from the original manufacturer part in characteristics including, but not limited to, display area, border size, brightness, colour reproduction, thickness, touch response, power consumption or other specifications.
Where different repair or replacement part options are available, the Customer is responsible for selecting the option they consider suitable after the available options have been explained.
5. Data and Device Backup
Device repair may involve a risk of data loss, corruption, device reset or loss of settings.
Customers should back up all important data before sending or providing a device to EASYPHIX for inspection or repair and, where practical, remove confidential or personal information that is not required for diagnosis or repair.
EASYPHIX does not guarantee that data, applications, settings or other information stored on a device will be preserved during diagnosis or repair.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
6. Device Access and Testing
Some repairs may require access to the device for diagnostic testing and for testing before and after the repair.
Where a device passcode or other access method is required, EASYPHIX may request this separately from the Customer.
Customers should not provide passwords for unrelated accounts, banking services, email accounts or other services that are not required for diagnosis or repair.
7. Pre-existing Damage and High-Risk Repairs
Devices that have suffered liquid damage, severe physical damage, frame or chassis damage, motherboard faults, previous repair attempts, unauthorised modification or other pre-existing conditions may contain additional or hidden faults.
Opening, inspecting, diagnosing or repairing such devices may reveal or contribute to the manifestation of existing faults that were not previously apparent.
EASYPHIX will take reasonable care when inspecting and repairing devices but cannot guarantee successful repair of devices affected by significant pre-existing damage or multiple faults.
8. Repair Warranty
Warranty coverage and warranty periods may vary depending on the repair service and replacement part selected. The applicable warranty period and coverage will be advised for the relevant repair or replacement part.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, repair warranty does not cover subsequent accidental or physical damage, liquid exposure, misuse, unauthorised modification or repair, or faults unrelated to the repair performed by EASYPHIX.
9. Shipping Devices to EASYPHIX
Unless otherwise agreed, the Customer is responsible for arranging and paying for delivery of their device to EASYPHIX.
Customers should package devices securely and use a tracked postal or courier service. Customers may also choose to arrange appropriate transit insurance for their device.
EASYPHIX is not responsible for a device before it has been received by EASYPHIX, except to the extent that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Devices being sent for repair should be addressed to:
PO BOX 6
Rosebery NSW 1445
Australia
10. Return Shipping
For completed and paid repairs, EASYPHIX provides complimentary standard return shipping within Australia via Australia Post. This service includes tracking and signature on delivery.
As with any postal service, there is a risk of loss or damage while a parcel is in transit. Our complimentary return shipping does not include additional insurance based on the value of the device.
Customers may choose to add transit insurance for the declared value of their device, or upgrade to Express Post, before the device is returned. These options are entirely optional and additional charges will apply. Please contact EASYPHIX before dispatch if you would like to arrange an upgraded shipping service or additional insurance.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate return delivery address.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to the Customer under applicable Australian law.
If a Customer declines or cancels a repair after the device has been received by EASYPHIX, applicable inspection and/or return shipping charges may apply and will be advised before the device is returned.
11. Repair Timeframes
Any repair, diagnostic or delivery timeframe provided by EASYPHIX is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Delays may occur due to parts availability, additional or unexpected faults, diagnostic requirements, Customer approval, shipping delays or other circumstances outside EASYPHIX's reasonable control.
EASYPHIX will make reasonable efforts to complete repairs within the estimated timeframe and to advise the Customer of significant delays where practical.
12. Unclaimed Devices
Customers will be contacted using the contact information supplied to EASYPHIX when a device is ready for collection or return, or where further instructions or payment are required.
If a device remains unclaimed and/or outstanding charges remain unpaid for 90 days after reasonable attempts have been made to contact the Customer, EASYPHIX may deal with the device in accordance with applicable Australian law.
Nothing in this clause authorises EASYPHIX to dispose of, sell or otherwise deal with Customer property contrary to applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EASYPHIX is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision of repair services where such liability may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available to the Customer under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
14. Australian Consumer Law
15. Acceptance of Terms

The version of the Repair Terms & Conditions applicable to a Send-in Repair request is the version identified in the Customer's repair authorisation at the time the request is submitted.
